TDU-32A/B and TDU-32B/B Aerial Banner Tow Targets provide an effective, low cost device for Air-to-Air and Surface-to-Air gunnery training. Both are radar reflective. TDU-32B/B is laser reflective and is used with the laser Air-to Air Gunnery System. The tow banners are launched from the runway by standard drag takeoff procedures. The targets are towed approximately 550 m behind the tow aircraft. Target recovery is accomplished by dropping the target in a clear recovery area after the mission.
